After 6 long months of paperwork and home study visits we are excited to announce that our home study has officially been approved AND that we are matched with another precious little BOY!
The process of us finally being matched with another precious son has been a long one, and honestly many times we questioned whether or not it would actually happen. But throughout this journey the Lord has reminded us time and time again of His faithfulness even when we could not see the outcome. To make a very long story short, we actually first saw the picture of our son shortly after our home study application was approved last September. However, due to a major slow down in our process we chose to wait until our home study was approved before viewing his file. In December after our home study was completed and well on its way to being approved, we finally were able to view our son’s referral paperwork. We accepted immediately and once our home study was officially approved in January we were officially matched with another sweet boy.
We are absolutely THRILLED to add another Hudson boy to our bunch!
So what does this mean for our process?
First, check out our timeline below to see the steps we have already checked off and steps yet to come.
Second, PLEASE PRAY with us. The timing of our next step is huge and will have a major impact on when our son comes home. Please pray that his file will be submitted for Emigration at the very next opportunity which will likely be sometime in March. If his file is submitted at this time, he will likely come home before the end of the year! This is a huge prayer request because it is literally going to take the work of the Lord on our behalf for his file to be submitted. We believe that the Lord is capable if He so wills and if not He is still so incredibly good.
